Annie Mae (Smith) Cox, 97, formerly of 8 Stone St. died Wednesday, October 27th, 2010 at Inman Healthcare. Mrs. Cox was born in Campobello, SC on February 19, 1913, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Hammett) Smith. She was the widow of Benjamin "Ben" Raymond Cox and was a homemaker. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Landrum, SC
Survivors include two daughters, Annie Lee Cantrell and her husband Dupre and Hazel Rogers and her husband Ken all of Inman. There are three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tomorrow, Friday, October 29, 2010 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel conducted by Rev. Bobby Pierce and Rev. Marvin Godfrey. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at 130 Seigle Dr., Inman, SC 29349.
