Inman, SC--Mrs. Annie Lou Moore Cheatham, 87, of 51 N. Main Street Inman died Sunday, October 5th, 2008 at Inman Healthcare.
Mrs. Cheatham was born in Spartanburg on January 8, 1921, the daughter of the late Furman and Cleavie McAbee Foster.
She was the widow of J.C. Cheatham and she was first married to the late Clyde Moore.
Survivors include a daughter, Edith Mahaffey of Campobello, a granddaughter, Brenda Pruitt of Campobello, a grandson, Kenneth Mahaffey of Wellford, three great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Doris "Dot" Pruitt.
She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 7th, with Rev. Mitchell Edge officiating. Burial will follow in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is at the home of her granddaughter at 185 Boxelder Drive, Campobello and will receive friends Tuesday 1:00-2:00pm. at Seawright Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Care Hospice, 500 Jeff Davis Drive Spartanburg, SC 29303.
