Anne Stacia Rainey, 74, of 318 Burnett Road died Thursday, February 2, 2017 at her home. A native of Newport, Rhode Island, she was born April 24, 1942, a daughter of Michael and Sophie Diomandes Papademetriou. She was the loving wife of John Rainey and had worked as a sales manager at Lichtenfelt Nurseries of Greer.
In addition to her husband, Anne is survived by three daughters; Susan Pruett (Terry) of Inman, Dawn Perna (Henry) of Georgetown, TN, Michelle White (Mark) of Columbia, SC, a brother; Michael Papademetriou (Joan) of Tiverton, RI; five grandsons, two great granddaughters, and one great grandson. She was predeceased by a daughter, Laura Lee Crowder, and a son, Fred C. Crowder.
In lieu of flowers, any memorials should be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 2151, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38101.
