Anna Margaret Hammett Lawson, 72, of 821 Hwy 292, Inman, SC, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at her home. Born in Inman, S.C. on January 3, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Margaret (McCutchen) Hammett and William Harold Hammett and was the wife of Kenneth Lawson. She retired from Spartanburg County School District 6. Anna Margaret was a member of Lyman Methodist Church in Lyman, SC and the Inman Women's Club. In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Andrea Lawson Fischer (Kirk), of Mt Pleasant, SC; two sons Hal Lawson (Myra), of Wellford, SC; Blaine Lawson (Amy), of Charleston, SC, five grandchildren, Connor Lawson, Parker Lawson, Micah Fischer, Maggie Fischer, and Maximus Lawson. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Carol Hammett Reid. The family is at her home and will receive friends Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 1:30 - 3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 30th at Seawright Funeral Chapel with Rev Brian Gilmer officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman.
