Spartanburg, SC-- Ann Collie Hooker, 79, of Oak Grove Road Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Caswell County, North Carolina on August 3, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Bessie Elizabeth (Lewis) and Henry Lewis Hamlett.
She is survived by a son, Kenny Collie and his wife Glenda Elmore of Florida; son-in-law, Roger Bradley of Spartanburg, South Carolina; granddaughter, Summer Laney and her husband Brandon of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Grandson, Blake Bradley and his wife Chere of Georgia and granddaughter, Brittany Oxidien and her husband Travis of Lumberton, North Carolina; one brother, Donnie Hamlett of Hall River, North Carolina; one sister, Phyllis Gibson of Blanch, North Carolina along with eight great-grandchildren. She found great joy spending time with her grandchildren and especially her great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her daughter, Sandra Bradley and ten siblings.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 28, 2019 from 1:00 - 1:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Bruton officiating.
