Mrs. Ann Sweezy Gibson, 65, of 101 Wanda Ann Lane, Inman passed away Saturday, July 31st, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, after an extended illness.
Mrs. Gibson was born in Liberty, SC on January 22, 1945, the daughter of the late James and Jincey (Stephens) Sweezy Suttles who survives her of Liberty. She was the wife of David E Gibson.
In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by one daughter: Ashley Gibson Huntley and husband Todd of Inman, one grandson: Gibson Todd Huntley, one sister: Donna Sweezy Messer and husband David of Liberty, one brother: Steve Sweezy and wife Ginny of Columbia, SC, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was formerly employed as a medical secretary and was a member of Inman First Baptist Church where she was a member of the church choir for over 20 years.
The family is at the home of her daughter, 103 Wanda Ann Lane, Inman and will receive friends Monday, August 2, 2010 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at Inman First Baptist Church Atrium.
Funeral services will follow in the church sanctuary at 5:00 PM on Monday, with Dr Paul Moore officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman First Baptist Church Choir, 14 N. Howard Street, Inman, SC 29349.
