Amy Valentine (Sullivan) Thomas, 41, of 140 Gossamer Dr., Sterling Estates, died unexpectedly Monday, July 18th, 2011 at her home.
Amy was born in Spartanburg, SC on July 6, 1970, the beloved daughter of Richard E. and Maxine (Valentine) Sullivan of Boiling Springs, SC. She was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church and had worked most of her life as a phlebotomist.
Surviving in addition to her parents is her daughter, Morgan Thomas of the home, a brother, Michael Sullivan of Ft. Lauderdale, FI, paternal grandmother, Mrs. Virginia Sullivan of Palm Coast, FI, and a special canine friend" Hollie". She was predeceased by a paternal grandfather, the late John Richard Sullivan and her maternal grandparents, the late Orville and Lorena (Morgan) Valentine.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 22, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Lake Bowen Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Mark Williams and the Rev. Terry Gray. The family will receive friends in the church sanctuary Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM . Burial will follow in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens in Boiling Springs, SC. The Gaffney High School Class of 1988 are to serve as Honorary Escort. The family is at the home.
