Greer, SC--- Almerillas Jones Sanders, 75, of 309 Poplar Drive Greer, SC, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015. Born in Holly Springs, SC on June 4, 1940,she was a daughter of the late Mary (Smith) and Alvin Jones and was the widow of Willie James Sanders.
Mrs. Sanders is survived by two daughters, Deborah A. Sanders and Marva R. Sanders both of Greer, SC; one son, Willie Darryle Sanders (Sharon) of Asheville, NC; one sister, Faye Atwood of Inman, SC; three brothers, Robert Eugene Jones (Elizabeth) of Spartanburg, SC, Alvin Ray Jones of Inman, SC and George Edward Jones (Annette) of Campobello, SC along with 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by five sisters, Mary Helen Cobb, Shirley Jean Jones, Mamie Lou Hunter, Fannie Mae McClaine and Bell Drummond. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gentiva, 15 Brendan Way, Suite 100, Greenville, SC 29615.
