Amelia Faye "Pete" Brown Splawn, 77, of 241 Golightly Street, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Amelia was born in Inman, South Carolina. on October 6, 1938, a daughter of the late Barney Edward Brown and Easter Hudgens Brown. Mrs. Splawn was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Inman, South Carolina and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, DeWitt Talmadge Splawn of the home; three daughters, Donna Greene of Inman, South Carolina, Lisa Barnwell and her husband Byron of Campobello, South Carolina, Christi Gosnell and her husband Eddie of Laurens, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Erica Queen and her husband Matt, Lake Bumgarner, Matthew Steven Cogdill and his wife Miranda, Beth Gosnell, Christina Gosnell; two great-grandchildren, Penelope Cogdill and Madison Queen.
In addition to her parents, Amelia was predeceased by a brother, Donald Edward Brown and a sister, Barbara E. Gilliard.
