Mrs. Amanda Alberta (Prince) Burdette, 92, of 404 Fox Den Ct. went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, January 14th, 2012 at Regional Hospice Home.
Mrs. Burdette was born in Valley Falls, SC on April 18, 1919, the daughter of the late Oscar Lionel and Ada Lou (Turner) Prince. She was the widow of Roy Alvin Burdette and was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Rev. Alvin Burdette and his wife Kathy of Westminster, SC, Leroy Burdette and his wife Wanda of Boiling Springs, SC, six grandchildren, Elizabeth Morton and Adam, Aaron, Andy, Paul, and Miranda Burdette and eleven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Landrum and Earl Prince.
Funeral services will be held at Fairforest Baptist Church at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 17th,2012 with Rev. Don Greene and Rev. Alvin Burdette officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the sanctuary. Interment will be in the church cemetery.The family is at her home.
