Alvin Carl Quinn, 52, of 8591 Highway 9 Inman, passed away Tuesday, April 9th, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.
Alvin was born in Spartanburg on September 12, 1960, a son of Bessie Mae Edmonds Quinn, of Inman and the late Carl Quinn, Jr. He had worked in construction and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Scott of Louisiana, Andrea Crawford of Spartanburg, two sisters, Shirley McNeill (Eddie) of Campobello, and Arlene Grigg (Richard) of Inman. He was predeceased by his father and a daughter who was the love of his life, Rebecca Quinn.
Graveside services will be held at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 11th, with Dr. Ron Gaddy and Mr. Morris Williams officiating. The family is at the home and will receive friends Thursday following the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marine Toys for Tots Foundation Greenville/Spartanburg, S.C., Gift Processing Administrator, 18251 Quantico Gateway Drive Triangle, VA 22172.
