Alton Eugene Wilson
Alton Eugene Wilson, 72, of 1520 Edwards Road, Inman, SC, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at his home. Alton was born in Spartanburg, SC on July 16, 1942, a son of the late William and Roxie (Pruitt) Wilson. He was the husband of Lois (Hollifield) Wilson, retired from Jones Tractor in Spartanburg and was a member of Living Waters Community Church in Inman. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Roger Wilson and his girlfriend Jennifer Crane, of Inman;
two sisters, Betty Smith, of Inman; Jessie Ruth Wilson, of Spartanburg; two brothers, James "Buddy" Wilson (Bertha), of Spartanburg; Michael Gary Wilson (Becky), of Spartanburg, one grandson, Timothy Hughes and two cousins Jane Pruitt and Carol Campfield. He was predeceased by two sisters, Evelyn Ridings and Hazel Strickland The family is at the home and will receive friends Tuesday, August 5th from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, August 5th, with Rev Frank Bryant, Rev Robert Mace and Rev Ron Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Ave., Suite 300, Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family would like to extend a special thank you to caregivers, Jennifer, Beth, Shirley and Isaac.
