Alta Pack Pruitt
Alta Pack Pruitt, 89, of 1705 Skylyn Dr. died Sunday, February 10th, 2008 at the Oaks at Skylyn Place, after a long illness.
Mrs. Pruitt was born in the Holly Springs Community on May 18, 1918, the daughter of the late Jerry Thomas and Letha Jane (Richards) Pack.
She was the widow of Toy Pruitt and was first married to the late Joe Gosnell.
She was of the baptist faith and a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Frances McCallister of Whitney, S. C., two sons, Bobby Gosnell of Pacolet, S. C., Cecil Gosnell of Glendale, S. C., a brother, Clarence Pack of Spartanburg, two sisters, Elizabeth Hayes of Spartanburg and Louise Sims of Wellford, S. C. , 14 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Tommy Gosnell, two sisters, Ruby Gosnell, Vivian Pack ,and two brothers, Leland Pack and Thomas Pack.
Graveside services will be held at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 A. M. on Tuesday, February 12th, with Rev. Rick Walls conducting the service.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Monday, Feb. 11, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
