Alsie Solesbee Melton

Alsie "Nanny" Melton, 66, of 259 Arena Park Dr. passed away Monday, February 18th, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Melton was born on May 17, 1946, a daughter of Maybelle (Belue) Solesbee of Campobello and the late Luther Solesbee. She was the widow of Elmer David Melton. She attended Fellowship Baptist Church and retired from textiles.
She is survived by three sons, Rickey, Ronnie, & Wayne Melton, three daughters, Faye Eubanks, Sherri Collins, & Kimberly Melton, a brother, Ray Solesbee, two sisters, Kathleen Kiessiling & Ann Johnson, six grandchildren, Brandy & Scotty Collins, Britney Eubanks,and Jessica, Kyle, & Bailey Melton. She was predeceased by four brothers, John, David, Jerry & Boyce Solesbee.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 23rd at 2:00 PM at Fellowship Baptist Church, Campobello, SC conducted by Rev. Jeremy McCarver. The visitation will be held Saturday at the church one hour before the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
