Al Wiley, 60 of Spartanburg passed away February 26, 2012 at his home. Mr Wiley was born in Spartanburg County on October 28, 1951 the son of the late Talmadge and Mary Williams Wiley. Survivors include his wife, Darlene Ray Wiley of 42 years of the home, a loving mother-in-law, Ella Ray of the home, a daughter Alicia Wiley Townsend and her husband Jake of Boiling Springs, a sister, Libby Varnadoe, 2 brothers, Jessie Wiley and Buford Wiley and a special brother CP Stone and his wife Ann. Several nieces and nephews, many other loving family members, friends, his "adopted" daughter, Patty Stephens, three adopted grandchildren, Taylor, Haley, and Jordan Stephens and his loving granddog, Nut-Nut also survive him. He was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy Wiley. The family would like to thank his loving caregivers, Vanessa Sudis with Gentiva, his sister, Libby Varnadoe, his niece, Christy Sharp and his nephew Jeff Moss. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Al Wiley memorial fund, 7924 Asheville Hwy, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at his home and will receive friends Wednesday at the home.
