Allan Peter Hodsdon, 69, of 244 Arena Park Drive Inman, SC, passed away Friday, December 14th, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital, Spartanburg.

Allan was born in Orange, NJ on July 23, 1943, a son of the late Carolyn Koenig and Erwin Hodsdon, Sr
He was the loving husband of Shelba Hodsdon who survives him of the home. He was a tool and die maker and was of the Lutheran Faith . He was the father of Jeanette Loftus of Palm City, Florida, step father to Lisa Jorgensen of Inman, Tammy Messer of Robbinsville, NC and Kristie Messer of Lakewood, NJ, a brother to two sisters, Amy McGuinness and Carolyn Bellmore and a brother, Erwin Hodsdon. He was the grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 6.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Wednesday 10:00 until 11:00am at Seawright Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at Seawright Funeral Home, Inman, SC, at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 19th, with Rev. Gene Baker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Center of the Carolinas 120 Dillon Drive Spartanburg, SC 29307.
