Mrs. Alice Corene Collins, 90, of 5494 Poors Ford Road Rutherfordton died Sunday, September 4th, 2011 at 5494 Poors Ford Road Rutherfordton.
Mrs. Collins was born in Campobello, SC on March 19, 1921, the daughter of the late Ira Lee and Frances Radford Stacy and was the widow of Allen T. Collins.
She retired from Butte-Knitting Mill and was a member of Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren . She is survived by a daughter Phyllis De Young and a son Russell Collins, both of the home and two grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Melvin Hill Church of the Brethren at 11:OOam on Wednesday, September 7th, with Rev. Earl Byers officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills 130 Forest Glen Drive Columbus, NC 28722.
