Albert Charles Bowker, 67, of 111 Halibut Lane, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Albert was born on September 27, 1948, a son of the late Albert Walter and Caroline Elizabeth Zeidler Bowker.
Mr. Bowker was a retired employee with IBI Secured Transport, a member of Fairforest Church of God and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Albert is survived by a daughter, LisaAnne Webb and her husband, Steven of Croydon, Pennsylvania;
a son,Wayne Bowker and his wife, Marie of Levittown, Pennsylvania; a fiance', Goldie Diann McKinney of the home; three grandchildren, Brandon, Devon and Nicole Bowker and one great grandchild, Kayden Bowker.
In addition to his parents, Albert was predeceased by a sister, Mabel Denham.
A memorial service will be held at Fairforest Chuch of God at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 13, 2016, with Rev. John Petty officiating. A second memorial service will be held at Emilie United Methodist Church, 7300 New Falls Road, Levittown, PA. 19055 on April 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Andrew officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association 364 S. Pine St. Suite B 155 Spartanburg, SC 29301.
