Agnes Martin Casey, 96, of 20 Townes Court, Spartanburg, SC, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Valley Falls Terrace. Agnes was born in Inman, SC on August 31, 1917, a daughter of the late John E and Hattie (Burgess) Martin. She was the widow of John "Bub" Hugh Casey. She retired from Startex Mills and was a member of Abner Baptist Church, Spartanburg, SC. Agnes is survived by a daughter, Angela Blain, two sons Robin Casey, Billy Casey all of Spartanburg, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a granddaughter. The family is at the home of her daughter, 327 Quiet Acres Dr, Spartanburg and will receive friends Sunday at Inman Cemetery following the service. Graveside services will be held at Inman Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 2nd, with Pastor John Cox officiating. In addition to flowers memorials may be made to Abner Baptist Church, PO Box 170157, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
