Addie Franklin Padgett

Spartanburg, SC---Mrs. Addie Janice Franklin Padgett, 75, of 104 Rockwood Drive Spartanburg died Tuesday, May 4th, 2010 at her residence. A native of Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Albert Sydney and Addie Mae Hawkins Franklin. She was a member of Legacy Outreach where she was a very active part of the Women's Ministry.
She is survived by her husband, Graham Eugene Padgett of the home, two daughters, Sherri Padgett Blank and Janis Padgett Johnson both of Moore, a son, Steven Eugene Padgett of Spartanburg, two brothers, Cecil Franklin and Clyde Robert "Boodie" Franklin, a sister, Agnes Franklin Cooper, her grandchildren, Jason Messer, Corey Messer, Elijah Johnson, ten nephews and thirteen nieces. She was predeceased by brothers, Albert Franklin, James Marion "Mack" Franklin, and a sister, Evelyn Franklin Freeman.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Legacy Outreach at 1:00pm conducted by Pastor Manning Strickland. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman. The family will receive friends Thursday, 12:00noon until 1:OOpm at Legacy Outreach, 2290 Highway 56, Pauline.
